For four generations, Colonial Industrial Refrigeration has been a family-owned and operated business specializing in ammonia refrigeration systems. Founded in 1950 under the name of Colonial Refrigeration, the company was incorporated in 1960 as David R. Trout Associates, and returned to the business name of Colonial Industrial Refrigeration in 1978.
We take great pride in working with architects, contractors and consulting engineers to custom build R-717 and R-22 industrial refrigeration projects that vary in size from small, single-stage 10-ton systems, to large, 1000-ton systems - all build according to specification, within the specified budget and time. Our systems are currently working efficiently in food processing plants, supermarket distribution facilities, cold storage warehousing, ice cream manufacturing plants, and controlled atmosphere apple storage.
We invite you to put our more than 50 years of ammonia refrigeration experience to work for you. Call Colonial Industrial Refrigeration for your next ammonia refrigeration project. We will custom design, or build to your specifications. Please contact us with any questions or comments.
